Review by hotel critic
During our family vacation at Ardiden, we reveled in its warm and inclusive atmosphere. As a history teacher with a penchant for French charm, I found the hotel's old-world allure enchanting. Our comfortable room featured a small balcony offering breathtaking views of the valley, providing a peaceful retreat after our excursions. In exploring Bareges Ski and Luz Ardiden Ski Resort, we marveled at the Pyrenees' natural beauty and the region's rich history – perfect for instilling a love for exploration in my daughter. The staff's considerate service catered to our every need, creating a welcoming environment for families. The renovated bathroom added a touch of modern comfort to the historic setting, blending the past with the present seamlessly. The on-site restaurant showcased local delicacies, allowing us to savor authentic flavors each evening.Ardiden's proximity to the Col de Tourmalet made it a haven for cycling enthusiasts, a detail that appealed to my adventurous family. The family-run inn's dedication to preserving its heritage while providing modern amenities ensures a memorable stay, prompting us to return year after year. For a family-friendly vacation nestled in the beauty of the Pyrenees, Ardiden proves itself a delightful choice.
